Mr. Hishikawa has completed the large leather bike goods order for CR members. As usual, he was a great pleasure to do business with, meticulous all the way through. So, I have to wrap everything up and get it into the mail to those who purchased. I have an exhibition starting in a few days that will require my full attention, but I should be able to start on the shipping next week. Please drop me a note when you receive your item(s). I am certain that everyone will be pleased. The hoods are very unique, especially when you check out the fit, as is the quality of the bags I believe. I asked him about making up bar wrap, as a few enquired about it. He said that he doesn't have a machine to do the tapering, and that the entirety of his production is done with hand tools, as in tapering using a hand plane. Bar wrap would be too problematical in terms of irregularities over the length he states. Fortunately, it sounds like Tom has covered the bar wrap needs. I'll try to drop a note when your item goes out. Thanks for your patience.
