Was the G40 available in the 70's, or not until the 80's?

Sorry Jerry, I should have had enough sense to list the offerings: Mod E (single eyelets); and Mod E2 (double eyelets) were ~19.8mm in width and had listed weights of 410 grams and 430 grams respectively. The Mod G40 (double eyelets) was also ~19.8mm in width, weighed 430 grams and was available in a dark grey finish.

The Mod 3 (single eyelets) was ~22mm in width and had a listed weight of 510 grams.
