Absolutely! Give me well-executed, quality lugs any day. That said... I would still prefer, from a purely visual standpoint, a set of Nervex Pros that had never seen a file (bike boom Peugeot maybe?) to the little caterpillar-lookin' welds on modern Al and Ti frames.
