SSC's were blue back then but also silver (alas always ano, thats what "hardened" 'em)

....I think Baron C has silver SSCs with some sort of Raleigh Team stickers on 'em

I have a pair of blue label "Championnat du Monde sur Route" Mavics on my '74-75 TI Raleigh Team Pro. 36-hole. Vittoria Rally tubulars. So rather "training" esque. But nice riding and looking.

It's been suggested it would be fun to have a proper "racing" wheelset on this. 32-hole Mavic SSCs. Maybe with Vittoria Corsa CX tubulars.

But these rims seem to be only in anodised silver finish. I admit I prefer polished alloy finish and were these anodised finishes available in '74-75? Indeed were SSCs available then? They were certainly used on the later TI Raleigh Team Pros (were they not a charcoal finish?) but what about this earlier period?
