Thanks for the great pictures ~! Nice bike !! The setup on your Laser looks a lot like the roller wheel kit that Mavic sold for their Modolo levers circa 86-88, which also routed the cables through the bars.

I have some factory-modified levers on a 85 Bianchi. But they are C-Record and therefore off-topic ;^)

I heard that the pads sit right next to the rim when you route the cables like that - is the throw the same as stock NR/SR levers ?

A few days ago I posted a question about the Super Record brake levers on my Cinelli Laser, which are modified for aero/internal cable routing. A couple of people asked me if I could provide photos showing how the modification was done. If any of list members could replicate the parts needed, I think their ingenuity would be rewarded by being able to sell quite a few of these, since it appears that no kit is available commercially. I definitely would want to buy 3 or more sets. Here is the link:
