I've been looking for a Legnano Roma in my size (57-59 c/c) in the famous
Legnano chartreuse (also called lime green or pistachio) for the longest time.
The closest I've gotten is a late 1970's frame, new, but in blue. I'd like to
send it out for repainting so that it looks something like the one on the
ClassicRendezvous listing for Legnano ("late 1960's early 1970's Legnano frame
set")
Anybody have experience repainting a Legnano? Which restorer is most likely
to do a reasonable duplicate color of the original chartreuse? Previous
postings on the list talk about a two color first process using silver then a
transparent green.
Thanks,
