>>>For all you Bob Jackson fans there is a wonderful double page photograph of 5 guys riding on BJ's at the beginning of this book. Steve Sweedler<<<

Along with the extensive illustrations, there are indeed some nice photos, mostly in color. A Holdsworth team in a pursuit race at Herne Hill, British cyclocross rider John Atkins (in full Carlton/Raleigh Ti garb) shouldering his bike in a muddy section, Hugh Porter "slinging" Klaus Bugdahl in a six-day race. There are also a couple pix of American amateur racing, including one of a bunch of young fresh-faces waiting at the starting line of an unidentified race. Wonder if there might be any CR list members in that pic?
