Wayne,
I also have a track hub (a rear) that looks identical to the one on e-bay, with no stamping on the hub body and no colored bands like yours on the wooljersey site. I bought it as a sew-up wheel that had been built up on a Mavic 32h OR10 rim. The axle threading & lockring threading are the same as Campy. When I took it apart to replace the ball bearings, I thought I might see some markings on the axle - so such luck. Axle looks like a Campy axle however there is no keyed slot through the threaded area. The cone however is marked. On the flat end it's marked in all caps "CAMP," and also "10x26 SU" Ok, 10x26 is the threading, but what does "SU" mean? Also does CAMP mean Campagnolo? Of course the cone could have been replaced.

Subject: RE: [CR] Campagnolo high flange track hub without slots?
I have a set of hubs that are remarkably similar, and I have never been
able to identify the maker. I bought these as a wheelset long ago.
They were laced to some pretty trashed tubular rims, but I don't
remember the brand. I rebuilt them and laced them to some contemporary
Mavic clincher rims for my Rickert fixed gear road bike. When I got
them, the front hub did not have dust covers. After first trying Campy
Record track hub dust covers, I tried some from a Record road hub and
they fit perfectly. The rear hub is threaded for (and came with) a
Campy lock ring, and they are 32 hole. They can be seen here:

Does this just add to the conundrum? Are they just another one of those
"holes" (pun intended) in our collective knowledge base?
