it's not even that articulated... these guys, all of them, do not live in the same world as we all do 40 years on. sure - there might be records or memories of some of this stuff, but i'd wager that, for the most part, they wouldn't ever comprehend this interest that "we" have in the minutiae that's discussed here. this reminds me of those threads from 3-4 years ago regarding "what does "...he built the frame mean?". for nearly all these brands, it was labor, their job. it'd be like asking if your subaru was from ohio or indiana.
hey - i'm serious!!

Part of me wonders if Alberto wouldn't really like to keep the names/locations of the contract builders unknown, just to keep a bit of "mystique" about the Masi name. And is Alberto really that well versed about the details of the Vigorelli shop prior to the formation of Masi USA? Was the relationship between Faliero and Alberto a good one?

BRAVO!!!! We've making these assumptions for some time, and it certainly seems plausible... but has anyone asked, say, Alberto? Lesseee.... hmmm... who do we know over there that could pedal over to the Vigorelli and have a heart-to-heart with the guy? Helllooo, Maaatteeeeooooo!!!
