Howdy folks.

Time to make some space in the garage if possible. I have an old low end Gitane on which I have systematically replaced all the steel parts except the seatpost and Huret Alvit derailleurs and shifters. I pieced it together from various thrift store donars over the course of a couple years, but it turns out I am never going to ride it... As it sits now it has the following parts: Pivo stem and alloy drop bar, Mafac centerpulls and levers, Nervar Star crankset, Dura-Ace (I think) BB, Weinmann Concave 27" rims and low flange French hubs (Maillard or Normandy, I would have to check). There is currently an issue with the rear wheel spacing. I think the wheel is 126mm and the frame 120mm and with the 5 cog freewheel the rear derailleur can't cover the entire range. I think it needs some spacers removed to narrow the rear wheel and redishing. I could probably do this if you'd like. I have a moderately rough cheap French tensioned leather saddle I could put on (kinda flared but maybe lacing would fix it) or maybe a kinda rough Turbo. The front fender is painted to match steel. The rear was missing, so I put on an Esge. It has decent tires, either Vittoria or Conti (your choice). I would say the paint is a solid 7/10. Most of the decals are mostly there and there isn't any rust. $75 + actual shipping. I think it is worth this for the parts. I can send some pictures if you are interested, so please ask.

Merry Christmas :^)
