Yikes! Was last night's $42 for a pair of Campy finger tip covers an eBay record @ $42, or what? Doesn't seem that long ago we used to scoop them out of a bin by the handful (like pretty campy candies) to sort out the colors and pairs we wanted - was it even 99 cents a pair in the late 60s?
