I've used some non-adhesive cloth tape as well. I treat it the same as thin Benotto plastic tape. Used to wrap that without adhesive, but in recent years I've begun coating the bars with Elmer's glue, waiting for it to get a little tacky, then wrapping the bars. The Elmer's is just strong enough to mimiize the tape creeping on the bends. You coat only the side of the bars you are going to wrap promptly. Some other members have mentioned using a spray adhesive. I'd like to hear more detail about that.

I've applied many-a-Benotto rolls (including Pink) sans adhesive without trouble, but was thinking that cloth may tend to move around over time so I'd like to prevent that.
Is anyone considering adhesive for the leather wrap Tom has acquired for listers?
