The "Peanut Butter" wrench is not shown in Campagnolo catalog #13 (1955) but is shown in the next catalog #14 (1960). The Record crankset, a cotterless design, came out in 1958 and I assume the wrench was offered at the same time.

A track group was introduced in catalog #14, but I don't know if it preceded the 1960 trade show that the catalog would have been printed for. I do know that 1960 was a big year for Campagnolo and suspect that the track group was introduced in 1960.

Anyone know one way or the other?

Incidentally the newly enlarged Catalogo Campagnolo reprint of all the catalogs up to 1984 makes a great Christmas gift ;-)
