A couple of years ago I was fortunate to pick up a Gangl track frame that I use as my fixed gear bike. As others have said, the workmanship is par excellence, with nice cut-out detailing and chromed track dropouts. It's a pleasure to ride, although the track angles make it a very "responsive" so I rarely ride it for rides of more than 30 miles. As others have noted, fine frame workmanship is a kind of "rideable art". I quite often get comments like "nice old bike", since although the frame is actually fairly new most people think of lugged frames as "old".
