OK, I'll go out on a limb here and help a fellow Classic Brit Lightweight owner. I don't even know what "KoF" means so I've been a bit lost here myself the last few days.
If you ever want to outfit a top-of-the-line British frameset like a Carlton Flyer, you can do no worse than to buy one of Chuck Schmidt's Ron Ketchings Cycle Catalogues he has reprinted. It's like a bible of the best British (and foreign) cycle components of the era. I think he may have a '61 or so. Mine got lost in the mail en route!
Anyway, here's what the 1961 Carlton "Franco-Suisse" had. This was one of the better built-up models they offered:
Gears: 10 speed Campagnolo (exact model not mentioned, I presume Record?) with Williams chainwheel and crankset C-1032
Chain: Brampton
Pedals: Lyotard Alloy 460
Tyres & Tubes: Dunlop HP RR 27" x 1 1/4" with Dunlop roadracing clinchers (here you might substitute a 700 c tubular rim like Weinmann Alisa).. have we concluded 27" tubulars are hard to find?).
Hubs: Airlite Continental Quick Release (your BH sounds fine)
Brakes: GB Courer 66 centre-pulls
Saddle: Brooks B-15 swallow
Missing from the above specs: stem and bars (but you gotta have GB!!)
Pump: should be under the top tube, try and find a 19" Britannia
I think it's prototypical of the era to use British-made hubs, brakes, crankset, stem and handlebars BUT Campagnolo gears. Pedals were very often the Lyotards mentioned. GB toeclips of course.
I just got a wonderful video from England with a compilation of classic cycle films from the 1950s-60s including the 1961 London-Holyhead Race. Ah, those were the days! And doubtless more than a few Carlton Flyers in the peloton.
