Just recieved a set of the 1930s? Just as I mentioned when these hubs were first mentioned, these hubs are guaranteed not from the 30's. They have the wrong logo, the wrong cones and lock nuts and the wrong shape. The original FB logo that appeared in the 30's had a much more lifelike bird, a wheel that had 12 slices and no tire and there were no tails on the letters F and B (I will try and get a photo to Dale for inclusion on the CR page). The locknuts are too large for this hub for a 30's vintage. The flange thicknesses are too great. My guess is mid to late 50's. They would have been made for low to mid-range bikes, more than likely 'sports' bikes. In Italy, the name sports bike is generally to describe any upright bike that is set up with lightweight equipment and multiple gears.
