Subject: [CR]Tom's Gillott

Dear Tom, LLoyds offer the traditional A.S.Gillott down tube script which was used from 1945 until the end. When Edwardes took over in 1963 they introduced a block letter d/t transfer. You could use this type. The roundel on the seatube is a transfer. There is a mistake on this in that the black line under the letters has a white line across it which should not be there. Easy enough to paint out. There is a pair of small Gillott scripts which go on the top of the fork blades, about an inch below the crown and at an angle. There were no top tube model names, however my 1967 TT bike has the same fork decals on the top tube but no D/T decals at all. Use a Reynolds 531 of the appropriate era. They often used the small type.
