Subject: [CR]WTB/WTT Bayliss Wiley Rear Hub Axles and cones

Being the holiday season and all, the tooth fairy (who shall remain anonymous) dropped off two Bayliss Wiley rear 3-pc hub shells, a flip-flop and a single sided freewheel hub.

These shells are beauties, the only problem is finding axles, and more importantly, cones that match.

The dust covers are part of the flange shells, just like on Airlites .... they do not come off. They are designed to work with very close fitting cones.

Does anybody out there have Bayliss Wiley rear axles and cones, or equivalents?

Can anyone recommend a period correct rim for these hubs? Or period correct-looking, findable, affordable and 40 spoke? Would 27" clinchers be correct?

The flip-flop is going on an old Malvern 2-Star with lots of wheel clearance.
