Before going to Ebay, I would like to offer the following frame to the list:

http://www.wooljersey.com/gallery/Masi_perhaps_GC_74

It is 50 cm C/C seat tube with a 53 cm C/C top tube.

Mid-70's Italian made Masi frame. After consulting with Bob Hovey and Brian Baylis, they seem to agree that it could be either a Gran Criterium (Brian's guess) or very early Prestige (Bob's guess). They guess that it was built in 1974 or 1975 and would originally have sported Alberto's signature. Fischer fork crown, Dubois lugs with cutout in the front tang of the seatlug that predated those used in the subsequent microfusione investment cast ones. The frame had very rough paint when I purchased it and the seller insisted on repainting it. The paint is quite well done (by a fellow who used to handle painting for Colnago), unfortunately the decals are all wrong.

I would like $800 for the frame.

The photos at the wool jersey website don't quite show the real color that is a bit darker and richer. Mike Schmidt helped me unpack this bike, so he can give an unbiased judgment about it.
