I need help to determine the age of a bike that sports the Cinelli Model "SCM" original investment cast bottom bracket shell with the legend "Cinelli S. C. MADE IN ITALY".

Is this the venerable model "SCM" ? The chain stay lug points identify the model as an SCM according to the photos on the CR site. Here are some general questions.

a) What years was the Cinelli SCM sold, was it replaced by the Cinelli CCM Bottom Bracket Shell assembly or were the two models produced concurrrently ?

b) What year did the CCM production begin and is the CCM model considered vastly superior with the "improved" placement of the chain stay lug tips (moved from the SCM's 12 and 6 o'clock placement to the CCM's 3 and 9 o'clock placement) ?

c) Is it true that Cinelli bicycles ALWAYS used Cinelli lugsets and Cinelli bottom bracket shells ? If not, did Cinelli standardize on the Cinelli lugsets and shells for all models with their "products" when they did become available or allow customers to specify alternatives ?
