Subject: [CR]My Dilema - suspension fork for a Malvern 2 Star?

I got this thing for plug ugly bicycles. So when my Malvern 2 Star arrived, I was in heaven.

This thing is made of water pipes of various diameters. It is very imaginatively assembled and may even be ridable.

If it was straight and had an original fork, I would restore it to its former glory. But there's no fork ... probably lost in a serious crash that bent the down tube.

As a bent bike, its perfect (in my mind) for a commuter/fixie. Since I jump a lot of curves on the way to work, the front wheel takes a lot of abuse.

My question to all you purists:

Would it be sacrilegious to mount a suspension fork on this bike? Do I risk getting booted from this list if I do it anyway?

BTW: the 40/32 27" rims are goin on this bike.
