First, I'll need some real excuse to make the 300 mile drive round trip to ride 25 miles with the guys. If John Morrison makes it I can hand off his Serotta or maybe pass it to Charles to give to JM. Maybe someone has something to pick up to paint or whatever. Maybe I can get that Celeste saddle from you, Chuck. The other thing is I need to trade in the red twizzlers for something that tastes good, like Yorks peppermint patties. Yum. Red twizzlers are only good in Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

The other thing is I need to be back in time for band rehersal at 7pm. If the logistics work out, then I guess I can make an appearance. How many Richie bikes are going to make it? Any prize for the oldest one? Mine has the engraved stem on the Cinelli VIP bars with the matching saddle. Let me know ASAP so I can glue on some new tubulars. My bike hasn't been on the road for a LONG time.

Yeah e-RICHIE must be loading up an overnight envelope as we type with those sticky red gaggers (they do go down better stuffed in a Krispy Kreme© don't they!).

Hey, Peter and Jan Johnson don't need no excuse to do the 800 mile round trip for a vintage ride; makes 300 miles sound like a walk in the park doesn't it? And the WeatherDudes are talking about Sunday morning sunny and rain late afternoon Sunday. Piece o' cake!

Time to do the ritual gluing and airing of the slowups and get that RICHARDSACHS™ on the tarmac once again.

ROADTRIP!!!
