I don't remember who came up with the design first, but I do seem to remember that the "X" shaped body of the Reedy pedal was assymetrical, with the outboard arms longer so that he could use a shorter spindle. I always loved that design and would give anything to find a set (especially since the cages had "BOB" carved in them.
