I may be in disagreement with some of you, but having studied the industrial revolution in depth and being somewhat of an artist, I wouldn't call the Victory cranks exactly ugly. Quite the contrary. I think given the right bike with the right paint job and graphics, the Victory cranks can add to the beauty of the bike, maybe not in the same way that a NR crank might. I have a silver and red Motobecane with the Victory grouppo and the whole look is one of 1920's metropolis mechine age. And also to the contrary, in these days of NR and NR lookalikes, the Victory cranks stand alone as being a unique design. I think time alone will judge whether these cranks become real collectibles. Like forty years ago, I never thought something like an Edsel would be a collectible car.
