I wish I had a son like you! ;^)

Anyway, since you are using Dura Ace and Sugino, a Nitto bar and stem would be fine. On my Cinelli, I tried to get a Cinelli steel stem and bar, but they are hard to find and expensive. I'll bet that the auction John Barron just put on for NOS Cinelli Steel bar http://ebay.com/<blah over $150...! (Brian is right!) I did find a Cinelli steel stem and mounted a reproduction badge, and used a Nitto B123 steel bar since they're 25.4 clamp. When I did get to the track, I found that the stem was too long (12cm) and the bar too wide (40cm). I'm changing to a 8cm Nitto and 37cm B125 Nitto bar (On a Cinelli, this is sacrilege!)

I'm the one who got the Nitto stuff from Dennis since the sizes I wanted/needed aren't available in the US. (the shortest stems are 10cm and the narrowest bar widths are 38cm)

One great place to see & buy track stuff is Business Cycles: http://www.businesscycles.com/ Pictures of Nitto bars are at http://www.businesscycles.com/tbars-nitto.htm and stems at <http://www.businesscycles.com/tstem-nitto.htm>. They're also available from American Cyclery <http://fixedgear.americancyclery.com/>, Bike Works <http://www.bikecult.com/works/parts.html>, and BillRon <http://www.billronbikes.com/trackbicyclesmain.htm>.
