The position of the cyclist illustrated in the above link, illustrates the tendency to achieve "correct" position despite a frame that is nowhere close to "bespoke" by a rider who "knows" instinctively, what is right. The forward set of the seat, puts the rider's knee over the pedal spindle in a very modern manner. The handlebar position, mimics what would be achieved with a somewhat larger frame, Cinelli sloping track stem, and deep drop track bars. Interesting...
