Subject: [CR]ANTISEIZE

After fielding numerous questions about removing rusted and seized parts,I would like to mention that an "OUNCE of PREVENTION goes a LONG WAY" installing pedals into cranks ?use ANTISEIZE.........in fact ,antiseize goes a long way................dont have antiseize? buy some!............snowed in and cant make it to the store?use grease(synthetic is my recommendation) you or someone else will thank you down the road.
Remember RED LOCTITE litterally takes a BLOW TORCH to remove so dont use it if you ever plan to disassemble what you use it on(in fact, just dont use it)
For BICYCLE applications I would recommend PURPLE #222 (lightest holding power)or BLUE 242(243) which is a medium strength-tool removable.
