I haven't seen the "Etoile" but my suspicion is that it is similar to the "adapteur" that is further down on the page with all the TA stuff. Of course the difference is that it would offset the chainring towards the center of the bike rather than keeping it in the same plane which is what the "adapteur" does.
This is just a guess, so if anyone has seen one of these
things, please correct me.
