There is the likely chance that the bearings have a removable outer seal that will allow you to clean and regrease. Use a very fine pointed object to carefully lift off the seal, trying not to kink it. After removing the seal, soak in solvent and apply your favorite grease, then press the seal back on. Good as new, or maybe even better, as they may have mysteriously picked up "mojo" while sitting for all that time.
