Forgive me I know this is a bit off topic. I picked up a schwinn high sierra chrome moly frame, actually everything but the wheels. I believe its from the early 80's and is setup as an hybrid ATB but it has eyelets from front and rear racks as braze ons both on the fork and rear stays and two sets for water bottles. This seems to lend it more towards a tourer or maybe it was meant to be inbetween. Anyway, it has some interesting Suntour center pull "roller cam" brakes that are mounted like canti brakes. Does anyone have any experience with these? Do they work well? Can I mount these in place of regular canti brakes on an early 80's trek touring frame that I have?
