The ultimate garage/attic/house has to belong to 'masseur to the stars' Gianetto Cimurri. How many of us have Bartali, Coppi, Merckx, and Moser personally handing over their winning bikes? An old article in 'Winning' describes his 60 or so bikes from 1818 on that pretty much all surpass the imagination...

I think the velophile's issue of space can be pretty much solved by boxing the bikes. With an 8' ceiling you can pile them up 3 boxes high; at just 8" wide per stack of three bikes you easily have 100 bikes + fitting in the space of a 1-car garage!

I've limited myself to 43 bikes (no good reason, just my favorite number). If I get a new one, that means another has to go. Here they are, w/ my apologies for straying off-topic:
