Jerry- I am, always have been a sew-up rider, used to buy Vittoria Cx/Cgs a lot, then went to Clement futuras for a while and then through a Vittoria rally era. Finally got wise and spent the moola for Continental sprinters. I found they have the ride of a more expensive CX or CG, but the durablity of a thicker walled Rally. Don't be afraid of the cheaper tires, but slurge for nice tires when you need to get out for a cathartic ride. Just my 2 cents. cheers- Dave Andserson Cut Bank MT
