Just would like to point this out to all of you who are sitting here looking at ice, snow and an otherwise desolate Winter landscape...
Atlanta cannot make up it's mind. On the 26th we had snow. Yesterday the temperature was in the 60s and Ray and I got about 28 miles on our very Keeper of the Flame Waterfords, with one of those Spring tailwinds to push us home and brunch at the James Joyce Irish Tavern after words. I kept up with some serious lycra-coated roadies on the way home, even hanging on the back of their clique, I mean pack.
Maybe Chuck gets to do this every day in sunny So Cal, but I think we of actual Winter appreciate it more because of it's scarcity <g>. And all you guys up there in Michigan REALLY appreciate it and laugh at us in Atlanta.
For all this talk about the economics of supply and demand regarding bicycle building (at least we aren't on the eternal debate of Campy Vs. Whoever again) I've got one thing to say.... Go out and ride!
