I have heard of some really crazy ideas about removing fixed cups from bottom brackets, I keep wondering why all of you just don't go out and buy either a Var, KingsBridge, Silva, or Campy BB fixed cup press and be done with it?

The Var is the most versatile since you can get it with several reversible dies that will fit most if not all of the manufactured BB cups in production. The Var tool is available from Mel Pinto Imports in Annandale, VA. The Kingsbridge tool can be bought from Performance tools in Yonkers, NY. The Silva tool can be bought from Joe Bringhelli Tools in Berea, Ohio and the Campy tool can be acquired from any of the Bicycle tool retailers out there.

Cheers,

Haven't got it unstuck but haven't destroyed it either. Still trying to find some Kroil locally.
