Gang

A vintage parts hanger and many tasty components has just landed in my barn and I offer them to the list before it goes to ebay! This bike is a vintage Peter Mooney built frame with Columbus SP tubing, size 67 cm (yes, that's TALL) for all you big boys out there. For those of you who DON'T know - Peter Mooney is a master craftsman the equal of most of the "KOF" builders out there! This bike was owned by a gentleman with a taste for the best and when he was'nt in Africa shooting big game he rode this bike MAYBE 150 miles.

Now the man wants to sell this bike but he recognizes that there are some tasty components here - first and foremost the nicest set of 180mm Campy Record cranks I have see in many a year. NOT A SCRATCH front or back. These are PRIMO. On top of THAT, a set of the VERY rare Dura-Ace Side pull brakes, first generation, with levers and even ... Good hoods.

And if that's not enuff - how bout a 3ttt ADJUSTABLE stem, shod with a set of Cinelli 66-42s, unmarked - just gorgeous!

These three items alone make the bike worth - $850 (plus shipping of course). Derailleurs are Suntour Vx in perfect condition. I'd keep the bike for myself but it is a skosh too tall for me. So - if you insist - the parts prices are as follows :

180 mm crankset complete with Bottom Bracket and 42-52 rings, like new condition - $350

Dura Ace Sidepull Brakes, pair, and levers, $180

Stem and bars - $ 125

Deraileurs - $80

Please feel free to email offers for multiple items! Were this a mainstream bike in a smaller size, perhaps a more conventional approach would be warranted - but this is an unusual bike - perhaps someone out there will give it a home. But if not - let the vultures tear into it!
