Subject: [CR]Offerings to be brought to Le Cirque

As those who were present at Trexlertown can attest, I have found a few interesting items that I will be offering at le cirque. Beyond the things that I showed at Trexlertown, I will also be bringing some more parts, as well as a few bikes and frames for sale.

There is one item in particular that should be of special interest this year given the exhibition of Cinelli bikes.

Andrea Cinelli has put quite a few NOS stembadges from the 50's and 60's in the mail to me. They should arrive this coming week. Andrea asked me to look after their sale to collectors. These badges were all dug out of Andrea's family storage room and are the very last ones that he has. They are the old style brass badges with hand-painting. He tells me that there are both the blue background badges from the early fifties as well as the black background ones from the late fifties and early sixties. These are not the later aluminum version ones.

The last one of these badges to come up on ebay was in the auction:

http://ebay.com/<blah>

where it reached $255.

In agreement with Andrea, I will be 'screening' who they go to. I will be offering them at $150 each. These are not to be resold, as Andrea has made it clear that he would like them to go to Cinelliphiles. As these are perhaps the last ones available and the price is quite a bit below the price that they would reach on ebay, you will have to forgive me if my 'screening' process may appear rather arbitrary to you. They will therefore not necessarily be sold on a first come first served basis.

If you are interested in one, please let me know before le cirque.
