Yesterday, I wrote, with respect to a Raleigh Pro Tom Hayes has listed on eBay:

Other than the terminal gigantism, it sure looks like some Raleigh Prof. to me. Is the conversion about Nervex lugs that someone expects all Nervex to look like Nervex Pro w. curliques?

harvey sachs mcLean VA (disclosure: I know Tom Hayes. I've even traded some stuff with him, and regard him as a friend).

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Now, Duane Kinnard nicely asked if I was sure, and it may be that I got confused. When I tried to find Tom's bike, I did it by searching for Raleigh Prof, and found a 64 cm as item 3672866816, a nice blue/silver example with fastback seat stays. That's what I commented on.

In contrast, Duane sent a picture of an orange Raleigh, with what seem to be much later decals, flat fork crown, and orange paint. If that is the bike that Tom is selling, I have no information on it, and apologize if I shot before aiming correctly.

thanks, harvey sachs mcLean va

Thanks for the help.
