I think it should be "Lubrification"
(I also think it should be "Pasta", pronouncing the "a" as in "hat". "Herbs" should be pronounced like the guy's name, "Herb".)
If you say it that way often enough, then eventually it becomes habit.
So, what do you say that from now on we refer to oils, and greases as they relate to bikes as "Lubrification". It will set us CR folks apart- kinda like a secret handshake. Over time, our own vocabulary will emerge, and a few hundred years from now, archeologists will dig us and our communications up, and think that we were a separate secret society shunned by the rest of the world.
Oh, wait, I guess that's already the case.
