There are clamp on Simplex retrofriction levers, at least I have a pair with the "old style" logo like on Mark Bulgiers great web site: http://bulgier.net/pics/bike/Catalogs/cyclo-pedia-74/p12%20Simplex.gif Interestingly the levers of the clamp version are not interchangable with similar looking common levers for braze ons.

Question for listmembers: what are the best shifters for this rear derailleur? I have seen some of the Simplex retrofriction dt shifters, but all the ones I have seen require shifter frame bosses. I have campy shifters SR currently...will those work or can the shifter clamp be adapted to make the Simplex Retros work.....any assistance would be appreciated.
