Latest list of Books, catalogues and parts for sale to CR members before or after they have been to Ebay. Please ask for photos if you're interested. I can deliver some items for a nominal cost to the Cirque.

All items are priced in $. Shipping will be extra charged at cost. Payment can be made in cash with dollars or by money order in Pounds sterling ($1.70 to 1 GBP). American Express Travellers cheques in $ are also fine. I can take PayPal but I have to charge 5% extra to cover what my bank charges me.

HUGH PORTER BANTEL PLASTIC MUDGUARDS NOS - these are similar in cross section to the Bluemels Lightweights with a central rib. I have one pair in red and one in black and they are complete with stays and fittings. $55 a set

BLUMELS POPULAR MUDGUARDS BLUE NOS complete with fittings and stays - these are a rounded reasonably wide shape $50

CAMPAGNOLO RECORD LARGE FLANGE (HIGH) (36/36H) built onto WEINMANN CONCAVE A124 700C rims with 14/16g double butted stainless spokes. Very good condition and complete with Shimano 600 6-speed 13-24 freewheel. The braking surfaces show only a little wear and freewheel also looks very useable. Hubs are truly excellent. These probably date from c1983-4. Can be delivered to the Cirque. Otherwise shipping to the US will be about $100 or shipping within the UK 10 GBP. Reduced to $130

MODOLO PRO BRAKES NOS BOXED - blue anodised. In the early 1980s this was the only brake to challenge the Campagnolo Super Record and that was without doubt the Modolo Professional. Ideal for most road bikes of the era (the drop is approx 42 to 52mm and with standard nut fitting) they are incredibly jewel like. DUNLOP RUBBER GRIPS BLACK - very good/excellent pair of Dunlop black rubber grips - the rubber is not cracked at all but is quite grubby. They almost certainly date from the 1940s. BOOKS AND CATALOGUES RON KITCHING CATALOGUE c1983 as issued to dealers in a binder (this has a broken back). Included are the Accessories catalogue (70 pages), Clothing catalogue (18 pages), Brazing Parts catalogue (6 pages), Frames (4 pages) and Tools (17 pages). HOLDSWORTHY AIDS CATALOGUE 1961 These are great for reference and were really well updated each year making them a very reliable source of information. They contain all the key componenent manufacturer¹s ranges of kit - Campag, Simplex (includes JUY 61 gear), Huret, Cyclo Benelux, Brooks, Weinmann, Constrictor, Airlite, Universal, Cinelli, Williams, Stronglight, TA etc Exceptionally clean copy 64 pages. $30

CYCLO CATALOGUE 1938 56 pages This contains full details, spare parts list for the full range of Cyclo gears and other parts including the Standard and Ace gears freewheels, pedals hubs etc A great and not very common resource $30

LETS GO CYCLING by Reg Shaw published 1950 228 pages Reg Shaw was secretary of the CTC at the time and a great touring cyclist himself. Some of line drawings of current kit etc An excellent book giving a very good insight into leisure cycling at the time $25

DESIGNING AND BUILDING YOUR OWN FRAMESET by Richard Talbot 160 pages. Published 1979. Great insight into framebuilding and how to design your own frame Almosty unmarked copy complete with dustjacket $30

THE CUSTOM BICYCLE excellent and rare hardback version of this classic book by Michael Kolin and Denise de la Rosa. It looks in detail at the work of 14 framebuilders - Condor, Bob Jackson, Mercian, Harry Quinn, Jack Taylor, Raleigh Special Products, Woodrup, CNC, Gitane, Peugeot, Cinelli, Pogliaghi, Guierciotti and Schwinn. There¹s an extended section on frame fitting. Looks practically unread $60

Their catalogue covered a very wide range of cycle parts - everything from roadsters to lightweights. In keeping with this wide range of bits it is a very large catalogue Slightly loose binding but generally pretty clean $85

Their catalogue covered a very wide range of cycle parts - everything from roadsters to lightweights. This includes the full range of GB parts, Harden hubs, Alp brakes, Cyclo gears, Brooks saddles, Constrictor parts, Huret gears etc Brown Bros catalogues are one of the principal resources I use to identify handlebar shapes. They stocked almost the brands at this time. In keeping with this wide range of bits it is a very large catalogue - 364 pages. Very clean cover but slightly grubby inside. $95
