"It does seem like a lot more people are griping at each other than normal, though. I really don't know why we can't keep the literary fisticuffs in private mail - maybe it's more fun if everyone else reads it? Sadly, I like ALL of ya'all - so it seems kind of pointless to turn spirited debate into personal bashing."

I agree 100 percent. If you people don't like each other, then keep it in private mail. I came here because I love old classic bikes. I sometimes need information about some "obscure" find. However, I have found out that when I ask a question, the responses are #1 No response, #2 " How much do you want for it" (without providing any information) and #3 It starts yet another round of sniping on yet a different subject. I have gotten some useful responses and I am grateful for that. Sadly, this is a rare exception. If I want to hear petty arguments, I'll call my mother and have tell me about why I haven't called.
