I haven't seen the bike yet, but my understanding is that block-letter logo = Gran Sport and script logo = Victory/Triomphe. The change to script is just outside CR timeline, I think, 84-ish? The same time as NR being dropped and SR caliper logo changing to script and aero cap nut. I think the switch to white brake lever hoods and white cable tension adjuster o-rings was also concurrent.
The V/T calipers share qr with GS, but differ from both GS/Record in: 1. Cable tension adjuster is ball-socket like Chorus monoplaner 2. Pivot bolt 3mm or so longer in front to accomodate: 3. Radiused bushing replaces thin scored washer behind pivot locknut
V/T materials, to my eye, are equal to Record. They stop just as nicely, but the qr is a bit clunky. I like them for how little performance was sacrificed for a lower price point, but every time I use a pair on a bike I can't deal with the clunky qr and replace them with Record.
