Despite the date, this is a serious request...
I am looking for some "missing links" in the history of Maxi-Car hubs. Does anybody have one of the following and could provide a photo, however crude:
1. Early hubs with stepped hub flanges (rivetted on, but that is hard to see as the rivets were countersunk and polished) stamped "MAXI-CAR" or "MAXI-C.A.R." (All I have seen were stamped "C.A.R.-MAXI")
2. Hubs with one-piece flanges (no little step), no holes, with a sticker instead of stamped "MAXI-CAR." (Not the 1980s, trumpet-shaped shells - similar to C-Rec hubs - which sometimes were ordered without holes).
3. Hubs with holes and stamped "MAXI-CAR" or something similar?
4. Hubs drilled for quick releases, but with the stepped flanges (see 1)?
Thank you very much for your help.
