Hi Folks:
While we're scrutinising the remarkable stuff that rhclassics has put up,I notice that the F.B./Campagnolo hubs in another auction have definite nutted axles, and definite single side freewheel threading. For many years,I have assumed that Tullio hubs of this vintage were essentially his patent axles with F.B. hubs spinning on them, sold as quick release axles provided with hubs.I guess there's a few other aberrations that were never catalogued....I got a set of these hubs with plain axles on a bike 20 years ago,and always figured they'd been swapped in later.
Does someone have better knowledge?
