This will be short. Last Monday I had the opportunity to go down to Greensboro to pick up a frame and two forks that I had left with Dale to check alignment on. As always time spent with Dale falls short. I had brought along a Tommasini to check the alignment on and was going to leave it, but Dale would have none of that. As we talked he was busy putting the frame in the vise and doing what needed to be done. There were two Cinellis hanging that he had saved, both sporting fresh paint and decals, beautiful. Lea came back to the shop, I am sure many of you will remember her, with a new De Rose in hand. Magnificent, the bike was sweet as well. Dale let me borrow a stand to put the fork back in the Alvaro Mejias Motorola Calio team bike that I would be riding over the next few days. As Dale filled me in on the many of you that would be coming and the events that will be taking place I could feel the excitement from the realization that the Cirque is only a few short week away. The hardest part if figuring out what bikes to bring, Hummmmmmmm
Looking forward to seeing many old faces, no pun intended, and many new faces as well.
