For years I rode a Nishki 26" road bike. I finally got tired of pinch flats and bought the narrowest mountain bike rims (Sun's) I could find and 1" slicks (Ritchey) and cured the problem. But I understand that not all bikes will have enough brake up and down play to make the change. But I have to say, Tufos solved the pinch flat problem and I'm back to riding regular rims and tubulars.
