Capital idea. Then participants would appreciate the value of mudguards with spearpoint extensions, enclosed Sturmey-Archer hub gears, waxed cotton rain capes and a pint of Guiness at the pub en route. A brace of club bikes leaned against a dry stone wall on a country lane. And the gentle click-click-click of a chorus of S/A FM hubs on the descent. Roll Britannia!

Ah yes Dennis, bravely spoken living in a country that eats raw fish, eels and seaweed. And doesn't even use salt or pepper! Yikes! Pass the HP sauce please.

You also live in a country that has more Anglophiles per square inch than any in the world. Pity really as that's where all those RRAs have gone. Japan also worships the original (one and only Morris Mini)... and, of course, they drive on the proper side of the road. Maybe a British-themed Cirque in Japan?

By the way, we all know all of the very keen Japanese cycle collectors. But have you actually seen any of them riding these treasures? Do they do group rides?? Or organise events??? Be great to see some pix of a phalanx of all those RRAs and PX-10s in action!
