I'm trying, without an accurate means of measuring,to figure out a seat post size for a Super Elliott frame, circa 1950.Sticker says "Reynolds butted tubes, forks and stays",looks to be original.26.4mm is loose,27.2mm won't go,and 26.8mm seems to snug up reasonably well. Was 26.8m ever a standard size for reynolds seat tubes? Is this bike just a little old and wacky? Is there such a thing as a 26.8mm seatpost that might be nearly period correct? Hmmmmmmmmmm......
