Skip wrote about how much better the Simplex SLJ rear derailleur shifts compared with the Campagnolo SR he had been using. Here's something I'd been wondering about for a while: how does the SLJ compare with a modern derailleur like Campagnolo Chorus, for example, assuming both are operated in friction mode on a six or seven speed freewheel?
