I have always wanted a Molteni Merckx in my size. Thanks to Daniel Artley and John C. McMillan, I now have one. Yay! According to John he had Bill Holland replace the seat tube with a stiffer one. It is just orange, no decals. Has a flat crown fork with "EDDY" on one side and "MERCKX" on the other, cable guides on the top of the BB, long-points on the inside of the fork crown. It's 59cm c-c. I am going to bring it to Ed Litton for a resto ASAP. (Hey Ed.)

I am curious about the numbers on the BB shell:

Can any of you tell me what they mean? Was this one made at Eddy's factory or by a contractor?

I will send similar questions to the Merckx factory.

Excited,
